My name is Chelsea Paige Gault. Most people call me Chels. I am a photographer, stay-at-home mom, and small business owner fueled by passion, lots of dog kisses, a little boy giggles, and great clients. Most of the time you can find me tucked away in my home office, editing photos, spending time with my family and friends, and hanging out on our boat. I am from a small town in West Virginia (Bridgeport). My love for photography started in middle school during journalism class. I moved to Charleston, SC right after graduating high school not knowing a single person and fell in love with the area. After graduating from The Art Institute of Charleston, I got married and became a step mom. Fast forward a few years, we built a home on Johns Island and found I was expecting the happiest little boy.
I find joy in documenting the wonderful moments that my clients give me the opportunity to witness. From engagements to weddings to furry friends and newborns... I love it all.
I also own the Little White Box Photo Booth. I have a 1974 VW Bus and two Shasta-style camper, each with a photo booth inside. I always wanted to own a photo booth but didn't want to be put in the corner of the room. I wanted something that was different for Charleston, that was cozy, that made unique stories from guest, and something that was rustic and old. Check out Little White Box Photo Booth

I've been a full time Charleston wedding photographer since 2015. When it comes to my wedding photography style I like to keep it as natural as possible. My goal is for you to remember the day as you saw it. From the start of the details to the last few moments of your special day, your wedding gallery will be a mixture of posed and candid images with lots of direction.I love watching my newlywed couples beam with love surrounded by their family and friends.
I also won't make you wait for months and months to see your online wedding gallery. My turnaround time is 5-7 weeks. I also edit each image myself and it's always me behind the social media post and emails. I also try to respond to emails as quickly as possible. Sometime, just in a few minutes.
I look forward to working with you and I hope you choose me as your Charleston wedding photographer!
I also own the Little White Box Photo Booth, two Shasta style campers that brings that extra excitement to your event! It's unique, fun, and full of photo props. Molly (one of a kind - we built her) is for those ship-lap lovers and is a stand up photo booth. Betsy is a 1964 Shasta Beeliner Camper that we restored.
Little White Box Photo Booth is based in Charleston, SC and ready to delight your event!
When the cake is cut and the guests have gone home, the best gift that you get to take home are the amazing memories of the day you committed to one another.
Your photos aren’t just moments captured in time; they are memories forever frozen in your heart and mind, as well as your family and friends who shared your special day.
Photos are there to remind us not of how we looked at a moment in time, but the emotions we experienced. The key to photos that take your breath away is to know how to capture everything before the camera lens even shutters. Great photography begins with establishing a relationship between you, your spouse-to-be, and I well before your vows are spoken. I want to become friends with you.
Of course, every couple is unique, so before your big day, I will sit down and discuss in detail what your plans are, what you value most, and what your photography needs are. I can also provide a general timeline with tips for the top spots to capture you in the best light.
When you decide to hire me as your Charleston wedding photographer, we will communicate throughout the process to ensure every detail is seamless from preparation to your big day. You can rest assured that your most precious moments will proceed without any hiccups and have the confidence knowing that I will capture your love story the way you envision it.
